Madera terrace is a large cast iron structure located on the Brighton seafront, it has recently been closed due to safety reasons and is in dire need for repair. This project was focused on restoring the terrace and housing an urban farm within two if the arches. The Urban farm was required to be fully off grid taking advantage or passive solar, wind and water methods. My design focused on tomato and potato plants that are used to control the programme of the building.
